Seems like the thing to do tonight, to reflect back on the sorts of stuff I wrote that people seemed to read, comment, and share with others. As a blogger, it's always interesting to dive into Google Analytics once in a while to see what's going on. It never ceases to amaze me how clueless I am about the sorts of articles that'll get attention, and those that just don't, despite my best efforts. The only thing that's clear to me is that I like helping people, and enjoy sharing solutions that help others.
So today, I thought I'd take a moment to share exactly what that Top 10 most popular list looks like. Each of these articles enjoyed well over 10,000 views! My articles tend to be rather niche, leaning toward low readership but high value. That's fine by me, since creating new content based on my own experience is what I enjoy the most.
I cannot resist sharing a polite nod to the Top 10 Commenters as well on Disqus. You win Itay!
Thank you, all of you, for your wonderful, insightful, and always considerate comments. Somehow, I've made it this far without having to turn on comment moderation, at least for comments without URLs. Heck, I still don't even require a login for you to drop a comment! I love all the ideas and feedback I get, it's great fun.
I'm very much looking forward to enjoying 2014 with all of you, and your friends!
