Featured on "Home Gadget Geeks" Episode #188 "Catching Up with Paul Braren in Germany, Travel Tech in Europe"
Always fun with Jim, who speaks really good English! It was a joy to talk tech for a bit, after being far away from the comforts of home for some weeks. Took a bit of sneakiness to stay online in my Mainz Germany hotel, including a D-link SharePort Go Mobile Companion DIR-506L and LastPass form-fills with auto-relogin, and testmy.net. We got it done over a meager 3Mbps connection. Here's Jim's intro:

It sure was handy to have my VPN give me US web pages and advertisements while in Germany, given I don't know how to speak German. Was able to use TiVo Roamio streaming from home as well.
