Supermicro Embedded/IoT Solutions - 1U, mini-tower, and many more
I'm taking a moment to highlight Supermicro's still current brochure, entitled:
Embedded/IoT Solutions - Supermicro
IoT on on Wikipedia:
The Internet of Things (IoT) is the network of physical objects—devices, vehicles, buildings and other items which are embedded with electronics, software, sensors, and network connectivity, which enables these objects to collect and exchange data.
Over on page 3, the Xeon D product line-up is featured, which includes the 1U variant that several TinkerTry visitors have inquired about.
I discuss the 1U form factor here. Today, just thought I'd take a moment to share this product catalog in case you find it easier to read and navigate than the Supermicro homepage. Just click the image of page 3 below to view all 28 pages of this 7MB PDF:
If you experience issues with download speeds, try this Amazon Global CDN copy of the same pdf.
These Xeon D-1540/1541 systems all use the same X10SDV-TLN4F motherboard, note this product page indicates:
Intel® Xeon® processor D-1540/1541
which I'm in the process of TinkerTry'ing now:
Thank you @Supermicro_SMCI and @Wiredzone for a first look at the Intel Xeon D-1541 SYS-5028D-TN4T w/ new BIOS 1.0c! pic.twitter.com/mP2vRisC92
