    • I haven't actually tried one of these drives yet, but I will be trying mine when it arrives on Thu Jun 28th, glad I live near NewEgg's NJ shipment center.

    It's certainly a lot cheaper than my somewhat newer OCZ Vertex 4 that has very similar specs. Great reviews, including PC Perspective.

    $0.74 per gigabyte is a pretty impressive price, with no shipping charges (US only), from NewEgg.

    After 6 successful years testing and shipping well over 1,000 Xeon D Bundles, Wiredzone had to stop selling them in mid-2021 due to cost, supply, and logistics challenges. So far, Xeon D-1700/2700 (Ice Lake D) solutions are looking very promising for 2022, and I'm glad Pat Gelsinger is at Intel's helm. AMD's successor to 2018's AMD EPYC Embedded 3000 Series seems too far off.
