Supermicro SYS-5028D-TN4T mini-tower/Wiredzone Bundles are on the VCG for ESXi 7.0 Update 3

The title says it all, even thought vSphere 7.0 Update 3 only became generally available on October 5 2021, Supermicro has already listed their popular SYS-5028D-TN4T mini-tower on the VMware Compatibility Guide here. This means full support continues!

I'm quite relieved about this, as it's been well over 6 years since the Xeon D-1500 series of CPUs arrived in the summer of 2015, and it's really good to have support from VMware continuing for this popular system.

Wondering about other Xeon D-1500 series systems? Well, the news isn't as great over there, all of the details are in the original 7.0 VCG article:

Note - due to chip shortage and cost increases, Wiredzone is no longer selling the Bundled versions of the Supermicro SYS-5028D-TN4T, but you can still buy the base system at Wiredzone, it's just a bit more DIY now. I'm super thankful for a great 6+ year partnership, and for Wiredzone helping keep the VMware support all these years by helping subsidize the considerable cost of doing so. Also note that the TinkerTry referral program that used special URLs to link to Wiredzone has ended as well.
