"gZilla" Z68 Gaming System is completely alive!

    Finally, this project is entirely completed!

    This household gaming system now has all its cables tidied up and secured, for occasional travel.

    As you can see from the first photo, it looks like a pretty typical workstation, albeit a rugged one. It's a re-purposed case really, pictured below with original labels also removed.

    But don't judge a book by it's cover. Scroll down a bit further, and you'll see the beast within.

    Intel Smart Response Technology has proven to be an affordable and reliable way to dramatically speed up the RAID0, using a 6Gbps SSD for cache.

    This monster wakes up from a deep, energy-conserving slumber in under 6 seconds, ready for fast action. Then, SC2 takes only about another 9 seconds to start, and about 6 seconds to restart.
